About me

In my work as an independent (sports) psychologist, I combine two of my passions: sports and psychology.

I already loved sports as a child and adolescent: Footballs, basketballs and volleyballs were just as much a part of my daily companions as my touring bike and sports shoes. These interests led me to study sports science. My degree at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität in Kiel, completed in 2006, included one year at the Université de Bretagne Occidentale in Brest (2002/03), which awakened my love for France and created the basis for a diversified professional life.

As a youth coach, I discovered my deeper interest in people and human behavior. My knowledge from my psychology classes gained new relevance and I decided to study part-time for a second degree in psychology, graduating in 2013. During my work as a football coach in the academy of the Kiel SV Holstein, I increasingly integrated my sports and psychology knowledge in practice. I also acquired my UEFA A license in 2010.

In the following years, I worked as sports psychologist in the academy of SV Werder Bremen and Bayer 04 Leverkusen as well as in the first team of DSC Arminia Bielefeld. In addition to my freelance work, I am currently also employed as a sports psychologist in the youth department of VfB Stuttgart.

My family and I live in Mülheim an der Ruhr, but I have traveled throughout Germany and beyond for work. I am fluent in German, French and English and would be delighted if one of my next trips led to you.
